This Site Safety Plus course is for project managers, site managers and supervisors, business owners and clients.You will gain an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on construction sites.Designed to assist managers and potential managers to develop a knowledge, awareness and understanding of their legal, moral and social responsibilities in respect of health, safety and welfare. The course highlights the need for risk assessments in the workplace, the implementationof the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health andsafety culture among the workforce. This information together with the experience gainedwill enable managers to organise, monitor and measure both health and safety performance on site, and maintain safe systems and safe methods of work.

You must attend the full 37.5 hours of training in order to get the Site Safety Plus certificate. If you cant attend the full course, you'll need to enrol and take the course again.

Accreditation

Successful candidates will achieve the CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme SMSTS 5 day course, recognised by the Construction Industry Training Board CITB. Valid for 5 years.

In addition, candidates will receive an Xyz Training Group certificate of attendance, recognised by a high percentage of major organisations in the UK.
