Start Time: 8am prompt start End Time: Approx 4pm dependent on practical testing times Additional Information: • Instructor will take digital photos (COVID-19 prevention measure) • Single use gloves will be provided if needed (COVID-19 prevention measure) • Please bring own lunch (COVID-19 prevention measure) • No mobile phones or any other recording devices are permitted on the course *Delegate Requirements: Physically fit, hardhat, high viz jacket or vest, safety boots, full body safety harness with short restraint lanyard and glasses, good understanding of written and spoken English. Shorts are not permitted. *Failure to meet the delegate requirements as above may result in either the course being cancelled for your delegate and/or a delay in their ID card and certificate being issued.

Course Agenda

The PASMA Towers For Users training course begins with a comprehensive introduction to the course and its objectives, followed by an overview of the relevant regulations and legislation pertaining to mobile access towers.

The first session also includes a detailed explanation of the PASMA code of practice and a discussion on the roles and responsibilities of a tower user.

The second part of the course dives into the specifics of tower assembly, alteration, inspection, and dismantling processes. This includes a thorough understanding of the manufacturer's instruction manual and the correct use of stabilisers, outriggers, and guardrails.

The final part of the course focuses on practical training. Participants will get hands-on experience in assembling, altering, and dismantling a tower under expert supervision. The course concludes with a knowledge test and a practical assessment..

Keep right to stay on the M49, which will lead you onto the M5. At St Brendans Roundabout, take the second exit onto Crowley Way/A4, then the third exit onto St Andrews Rd/A403.
