Joining Instructions

Registration Time: 8.15am for 8:30am start. Please note our office does not open until 8am. Duration: 3 Days. Equipment Required: Hard Hat, Coveralls Gloves & Safety Boots. All delegates are required to bring photographic evidence (must be government approved, e.g. passport or picture driving licence). Delegates must also provide medical certification or self-certify their medical fitness prior to participating in practical exercises. A link to the current standards can be found at available on request Lunch: Provided by Evolve. Please advise of any dietary requirements 24hrs in advance. Extra Information: Delegates should be aware that this course contains a large element of practical work using live equipment. If any delegates have special requirements e.g. wheelchair access, reading or writing difficulty, please let us know in order for us to provide an appropriate classroom or arrange assistance for written exercises. Course Agenda

The OPITO Banksman & Slinging Operations training course is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely and efficiently carry out lifting and slinging operations in the oil and gas industry. Training Venue

Specific venue information; which includes the full address, directions to the venue, public transport links, parking, refreshments, nearby hotels and whether or not food is provided will be supplied to confirmed bookings prior to the start of the course. OPITO Banksman & Slinger Stage 1 training is also available at training centres UK wide and on client premises (as required) provided minimum delegate numbers are achieved.

Accreditation

The OPITO Banksman & Slinging Operations training course is accredited by OPITO, the global industry standard for oil and gas training. Upon successful completion, candidates will receive an OPITO certification that is recognized and accepted by employers worldwide.
