Who Should Attend?

Prerequisites You must have a basic understanding and knowledge of current Health & Safety issues. The CITB Operatives Health & Safety touch screen test must be current and in date. (Completed within the last 24 months) We can provide the CSCS HS&E at our West Midlands training centre

Specific Excavator 360 joining instructions will be supplied to you (if appropriate) once your booking is confirmed. If, once confirmation has been received, you are in anyway unsure of what prerequisites or items you need to bring or provide, then your dedicated training manager or the trainer conducting your course will be able to confirm this with you. Course Content Includes: Role and responsibility as a plant operator Basic construction, names of components and the purpose and use of all controls and gauges Principle components, basic construction, controls & terminology Relevant regulations & legislation Pre-use, start, running checks and close-down procedure Negotiating rough ground & steep inclines Manoeuvring in confined spaces Configuring for excavating duties Hazards, underground & overhead services Excavation & ground types Grading, levelling & spreading Placing materials into vehicles & hoppers Lifting, moving & placing basic slung loads Travelling with slung loads Shutdown & securing procedures.
