This course will enable the candidate to undertake duties of a crane supervisor as defined by the appointed person complying with legislation regulations Codes of Practice and industrial requirements. By the end of the course delegates will have the knowledge to be able to design safe lifting plans that are compliant with the law and take into account all health and safety requirements on site

Who Should Attend?

Supervisors and managers with responsibility for supervising lifting operations who have sufficient experience of the use of cranes to meet the requirements specified in British Standard 7121 Safe Use of Cranes. This course is aimed at people that already have site experience working as a slinger / signaller and want to progress onto the next level.

At the roundabout, take the A325 towards Farnborough, then turn left at the traffic lights onto Hale Road A287. After about 5 miles, look for a BP Garage on your right, and turn right just before the dual carriageway.From the M3 Junction 5, take the A287 towards Farnham, and at the first roundabout, take the second exit. Keep an eye out for the Mill Land sign after about 2 miles. Once you arrive, turn left into Rye Common Lane, take the second right, and go over the bridge. Accreditation

Candidates who successfully complete the Crane Supervisor Lifting Operations CPCS A62 or NPORS N405 training course will receive a Red CPCS Crane Supervisor card, which is valid for 2 years. This card serves as proof of their competence in crane supervision and lifting operations.

In order to maintain their accreditation, candidates must complete an NVQ within the 2-year period. Upon completion of the NVQ, they will be eligible to receive a Blue CPCS card, which is valid for 5 years. This demonstrates their continued competence and commitment to the industry.
