Course Information

This course is for people with limited or no experience who want to learn how to operate a telescopic handler. Successful delegates gain the CPCS trained operator card (red card) on passing the CPCS technical tests at the end. Experienced telehandler operators who need a formal qualification can do a condensed 3 day course.

Course Agenda

The Telehandler CPCS A17 or NPORS N010 training course begins with a comprehensive introduction to the equipment, its purpose, and its uses. This includes an overview of the types of telehandlers, their components and controls, and the potential risks and safety precautions when operating them. The course then moves on to the practical aspects of operating a telehandler. This includes hands-on training in manoeuvring the equipment, loading and unloading, and safe handling techniques.
