The course will then cover male and female anatomy, as well as the male and female catheterisation procedures through both theoretical and practical sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their skills and gain hands-on experience in a simulated environment. They will also learn about post-procedure catheter positioning and the importance of a thorough post-procedure checklist.

Record keeping is a crucial aspect of catheterisation, and participants will be taught how to accurately and ethically document their procedures.
