Course Information

This course will give candidates foundation training and assessment towards a Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) Red Trained Operator card. Accredited under ITSSAR.. All courses will give delegates the skills to operate the crane safely and efficiently. They will learn how to carry out a pre use inspection operate the various attachments manoeuvre a variety of loads using the machine and understand signals given by the slingers and signallers. Delegates will also be able to recall and explain the causes of instability of the truck and loads.

Who Should Attend?

Potential and existing operators For operators who have experience on a lorry mounted crane / HIAB but have no certification or their certificate is over 5 years old. Novice experienced and refresher courses available.

If, once confirmation has been received, you are in anyway unsure of what prerequisites or items you need to bring or provide, then your dedicated training manager or the trainer conducting your course will be able to confirm this with you. Accreditation

Candidates will undergo a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical training during the Lorry Loader course. They will be evaluated through both theoretical and practical assessments.

Upon successful completion of the CPCS Technical Tests, candidates will be awarded a CPCS Red Trained Operator card. Alternatively, they may receive the relevant ITSSAR accreditation, depending on their specific training needs.
